There are events that shake us...
For me, it was a climbing accident at the age of 16. I was told I would never dance again. Yet, dance became the force that helped me rise. This accident became the lesson that led me to explore new paths of healing and to reconnect with my bodily expression.
MY STORY

MY STORY
This turning point in my life made me realize that I felt like a stranger to myself. What is this body I had been living in, full of joy, for 16 years? And who was the soul inhabiting this body? After a surgical operation, I had to put dance completely aside. For several years, I distanced myself from the feeling of dancing. However, I drew closer to the awareness of my body, at first through yoga and sophrology. It was the time to turn my attention "inward," beneath my skin, into my bones, into every "hollow" and "full" of my body.
My accident gave me a gift: the gift of becoming aware of my body.
INTUITIVE, FREE, AND CONSCIOUS DANCE
At the age of 20, I secretly returned to contemporary floor dance. At 21, my brother took me to a medicine dance gathering. For the first time, I experienced free dance in a space without judgment. This experience opened a field of exploration that I have continued to nourish since that moment. Today, I feel I have learned to know myself through my body and within my body. I have bodily memories that my consciousness recalls, but my mind cannot put into words. Memories of full bodily presence imprinted during sessions of Contact Improvisation, Feldenkrais, Rio Abierto, Open Floor, and Ecstatic Dance.
SILENCE INTERWOVEN WITH DANCE
In South Africa, I discovered the power of silence during a 10-day retreat where speaking, reading, writing, and eye contact with others were forbidden. Ten days of meditation in an immobile posture. I received so much clarity and awareness during this time that I went on to explore the meditative state of dance in silence with myself. It was a transformative experience that gave me the momentum to make major transitions in my life—personally, professionally, and in the place where I wanted to live.
Since 2019, I have been a certified conscious dance facilitator.
I trained in South Africa. In 2020, I furthered my training through Ecstatic Dance Paris, which allowed me to refine my listening to music and create playlists that transport us to the heart of an introspective journey. I received an initiation to the Medicine Wheel from Marine @coeurdautomne. I also continue to deepen my meditative practice through retreats in eco-villages (Pruniers Village 2022, La Kambrousse 2020 and 2022) and dance workshops (GagaLab 2022, Deltebre Dansa 2021).
